Join Soccer Shots Game Time for an opportunity to be introduced to league-style play. We will do this by spending more time scrimmaging, teaching more in-depth soccer skills and fostering healthy competition. Each week they will play a different team (depending on enrollment, we are hoping to have 4 teams per age group). Below is a description of what you can expect from each week:

• 5 sessions (11/13, 11/20, 12/04, 12/11, 12/18)

• Children ages 4 to 5 @ 5:00 pm, Children ages 6 to 8 @ 6:00 pm

• 2 Soccer Shots Level 1 Certified Coaches’ (When 12 children or more enroll!)

• Sessions will include

  • 8-minute halves for Ages 4 to 5

  • 12-minute halves for Ages 6 to 8

• Soccer Shots game prep through skill and drill instruction

• Skill Development and Character Enrichment Focus

• Ages 4 to 5 (40-45 minute session), Ages 6 to 8 (50-55 minute session)

• 2 halves, running clock game

• Teaching Throw-ins, corner kicks, and goal kicks (Age 6 to 8 program)

• 4-5 player per team on a field at a time

• Positions and strategy

• Goalies (Age 6 to 8 program)

• Stopping play for teachable moments

• 4-minute halftime

• Session review to recap each week

• Prizes for all the children each session (Soccer Shots Stamps!)

• 2 to 4 teams (Depending on enrollment- may switch teams after week 2)

• End of the season prizes!

We will have different colored pinnies for the teams to wear each week. No uniforms necessary. Once enrollment is in, we will divide players into teams.
